On another note
i fireworkman am starting a new rank for SELECTED people, these are people that are good/epic at building, These people ARN'T staff so they can't silence or ban anyone all they do is help me in building events for YOU, this is so that events dont take 6 weeks to build (this rank is called Elite)
 
So please dont bugg them to ban people etc. also dont ask for items off them, this will get you both Temp banned!!! (if they do give you the items) If you are reported by one of them for asking too many times with warnings you will again be temp banned!
 
Please DONT pm Me (fire) OR prop, this rank is ran by me and only take orders from me (as its a mini build team) So if you ask too many times its more likely you wont get in, the only way is if you build epic things!

I know we keep saying "Should be this weekend" then then it gets there "maybe next weekend" well i would like to say we will be aiming our main deadline for  the 26/27th  mainly the 27th :)
 
ALSO just a update on the spawn town, if you buy a premade house or shop we have one main rule, you cannot remove any blocks pre-placed even if it is just wood or wool, if there are any missing blocks found action will be taken.

The main reason is to help create an all around fun and exciting experience, while avoiding obvious trolls and hackers... When we went to Vanilla for the short period of time we had a huge increase in numbers of cheaters, trolls, and straight up assholes. Excuse my french. Hopefully with this decision it will allow us to monitor the players we have and once again ensure that you will have a one of a kind Minecraft experience. We will be building a Whitelist application soon.

Now with the new update of Minecraft 1.3 Craft Bukkit has been working hard to release a "recommended" build of Bukkit 1.3. They have released a few "Developer" builds that are not completely stable. As we start to implement a few plugins, there have been only a handful of errors. This being said does not mean that they are completely functional. While we start to test all of the plugins we want to try more fun and exciting things. The server is currently up and running CraftBukkit 1.3.1-R0.1 as of 8/6/12 12:35 Eastern time but only open to the admins. We will be posting a few little teaser pictures around the forums so check it out.

Your towns are backed up and will be imported into the new world once bukkit is promoted to a "Recomended build."

After Bukkit releases a "recommended build" well white-listed the server and build it back up to EPICNESS with a movie preview hopefully before you even get to log in... sort of a teaser if you will =P

While war is in effect, each competing town has a health points property attached to it. Normal townblocks have an HP of 60 while Home Blocks have 120 points. A townblock loses HP by enemy-nation residents standing within the townblock. When a townblock has lost all HP and fallen the town which the attacker belongs to gains one townblock and points to their War Score. A Town can be knocked out of a war when their Home Block falls or if their Mayor is killed. A Nation can be knocked out of a war if its capital city is knocked out of the war, or if the King is killed.

To be neutral during the war assistants/mayors MUST do /nation toggle neutral It will charge you the amount for staying neutral and not allow others to destroy your stuff.

Points in war given for the following:

  • A enemy killed: 1
  • A townblock stolen: 1
  • A town knocked out of the war: 10
  • A nation knocked out of the war: 100
This will start happening at certain times during the weeks I'm thinking Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Weekends will be randomly added as not many people are online at that time.

Also with the new 1.3 will come many new game-play features, a new world, a new spawn town, Better functionality, and a complete revamp of the economy system. (yes everyone will start over except only large towns will be schematized and moved over.) While this happens the server will remain 1.2 until Bukkit and plugins are updated. When these come the server will then be upgraded to 1.3 and whitelisted while admins/mods and other helpers assist with importing and stress testing the new features... Sorry for any problems this may cause, but that's why I'm updating you guys so early! =D

Basically it make its easier for donators to get features they want and without me having to be online! To use it type /buy and the Buycraft menu will start just follow the instructions until you've selected your package and it spits out a link for you to follow and purchase your goods. STAY IN GAME because the server makes changes and grantes you various things depending on what packages you've purchased. If you have any questions you can refer to HERE for my short video on how to donate. If you use the website donation method I or a mod/admin will still grant the same things to you just slower.

Here are some ACTIVE donations:

Single donation $10: This donation is a one time payment of $10 all commands given are permanent. Includes a full Diamond armor set and tools, access to the /sell command (allowing you to /sell anywhere) and access to a new basic donator kit.

Iron Donation Level $15.00: Includes /fly /sell, up to 3 Home points, 2 Warp points, $10,000 and access to Iron level donation Kit.

Gold Donation Level $25.00: Includes /fly /sell, up to 5 Home points, 3 Warp points, $20,000 and access to Gold level donation Kit.

Diamond Donation Level $45.00: Includes /fly /sell, up to 10 Home points, 5 Warp points, $40,000 and access to Diamond level donation Kit.

I'll keep working on the donations adding more cool features to donators like access to mob disguise and various other fun plugins!

  • Some major projects I'm trying to accomplish before my vacation is over: Redoing the Server Spleef and PVP arena's so they can be left open 24/7 for use. Finishing the server shop to sell 100% of items in the game. Creating warps for towns with a spleef, and shop built (PM me if you think your worthy) and creating a major rail-way from server shop to the major alive towns of the server, Adding donation kits and packages to buycraft, Implementing at least one mob arena in spawn town for users.
